Very interesting,
I lived in Pattaya for 3 years and loved it, had a cafe Inside Made in Thailand market. Then 9/11 happened and the bottom of my world fell out. Lingered on untill my savings ran out, sold everything and returned to the UK. So did I fail?
My intention was to recoup and return ASP. My Thai wife ( yes me too ) decided otherwise when she discovered free schooling, for her 5year old son, medical care and how easy it was to find work etc, ( she currently has 3 jobs! ) she also decided to not return to Thailand to live. So did I fail somehow.
In December 2013 I buggered off to Cambodia for 2 months, loved it, our relationship had changed, ( for the worse ) and my attitude had changed. So have I failed?
I am 69 in January and I have come to the point that with only about 15+ years of life left should I stay here in the UK, or return to Cambodia.
The point is that everyone is at the mercy of decisions, not just their own, but circumstances, the changing tides of life.
If I go back to Cambodia will it mean that I have failed once again? No, it just means that I am ready for change again, to live where I'm happy and if I return to the UK so what.

Thanks catweasel, I enjoyed reading your list, which you could have made a lot longer. It's when someone takes the time to make a list, such as yours, that it really brings it home as to how inept the RTP are.
This is my first ever post on this forum and it has been your post that has prompted me to join!!
I have long believed that if all the points/clue's, like the ones you have stated plus every other point made by other posters were to be investigated and then presented to the RTP, then the truth would be forced to come out.
Thank's

As soon as the borders open in Cambodia or Philippines, I suggest all the single Ex-pats relocate to them. A visa for Cambodia for 1 year is $280, renewable every year and forever.
Philippines, renew every 6 months. Check it out for yourselves.
I would never ever go back to Thailand, there are other Countries that you can live without all the hurdles they have and will in the future.
