  1. I have had the same problem and I have discovered that 300 mg of gabapentin (generic and cheap) in the morning and 600 mg before bed mostly controls the itching. I suggest trying it.
  2. There was an article today (https://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-ai-features-older-phones-3411524/) that says the live translate feature will be coming to older Samsung phones. I suspect, however, that these will only be relatively recent models. I believe the feature needs a pretty fast processor to handle the workload and older phones are not up to the task.
  3. Absolutely! I can often drive the entire length of Thepprasit without stopping once. I could never do that before the improvements. I think it is much safer, although less convenient for those needing to turn into destinations along the way. I do think they went a bit overboard with all the lane markings however.
  4. I asked Bangkok Pat and received no reply. I can't find any Google reviews for the theater.
  5. Does anyone know if this movie theater is still open?
  6. I was at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya today and asked about Shingrix. They have it, but they are asking 7,550 for the vaccine plus 330 for the hospital fee and 600 for the doctor fee (total: 8,480). I am not a person who generally feels their prices are too high (as others on this forum do), but this really seems too high to me. I also had to explain to them that two shots were necessary (the lady obviously knew nothing about that). Does anyone know another place in the Pattaya area that might be cheaper? Do we think the price may come down in time?
  7. There is not actually a cruise terminal as such. You simply have to find out about where the ship docks, then keep an eye out for it when you get close.
  8. If you follow the link to the original story, you will learn that guy has, in fact, confessed to the murder.
  9. Check out Bon Cafe in North Pattaya. They have a number of fine Italian machines.
  10. Thank you LALes for being the only one of eight posts that actually tried to answer my question.
  11. Does anyone have any info on the new Chinese restaurant above the parking structure in the Jomtien Plaza Building?
  12. Many UPS models include a USB port which you connect to your computer. You also install software on your computer which will shut down the system in a proper, safe manner after there has been a power outage for a certain time period. Look for a model that has that feature. I have a Cleanline brand that I bought at Banana and it keeps my computer and monitor running for over 35 minutes what the power goes out.
  13. Index on Sukhumvit has a very good selection.
  14. Foodland has them from time to time, but they are very expensive.
  15. I bought the Galaxy watch 5 and I'm very happy with it.
  16. I have been searching for good corned beef and pastrami (like you get in NY or LA) in Thailand for 20 years now. Have not found any yet.
  17. Go to one of the phone shops on the 2nd floor of TukCom.
  18. I buy Costco's Kirkland Multivitamins on Lazada. More than in the US, but still reasonable.
  19. The compound you are referring to is Minoxidil, not Monoxidil as you have typed, nor is it Minaxidil as in the picture you posted. I believe it is only available in a liquid or spray. I think the tablets do not grow hair, but only increase circulation. Why do you not want to use the liquid or spray? They both work just fine and are available on Lazada: https://www.lazada.co.th/products/kirkland-signature-hair-tonic-serum-60-ml-1-6-6-i1391722784.html?spm=a2o4m.searchlist.list.11.1f3d1a79XDs1bJ.
  20. I just noticed today that my front license plate is missing. The entire frame is gone as well and it appears I may have caught it on something. What should I do?
  21. I can recommend this pharmacy in Bangkok for on-line ordering. https://www.facebook.com/Medisafe.Pharmacy.Rama4/
  22. The articles says, "People started registering and possibly paying on July 1st so that each hospital would know how many supplies to order by the start of August." So if the purpose of the registration is so that hospitals know how much to order, why are we being told that registrations are full? Either they've been given quotas or they haven't.
