There are a few places listed on the resmed website. Do people buy their supplies from the stores listed there? Or a mail order website?
Any info appreciated.

Could be for security reasons. Just because the OP doesn't see any benefits and didn't plan ahead doesn't mean that the upgrade isn't needed

What's the advantage of using the domestic wire to Bangkok Bank over transferwise?
-
I used to use the Bangkok Bank ACH option. Last week tried transferwise for the first time. Registration seemed easy. They finally debited my US bank account this morning and the status on the transferwise app is 'We're running some checks' and the estimated date is next week. This happen to anyone else the first time?

That is correct. Hong Kong (and Macau) do not stamp passports anymore. They print off a small 'reciept' showing your entry date and when you have to exit by.
Good for the expats that live in HK but work on the mainland. Many had to get new passports every 2 months because of all the stamps.

For those of you who think getting a new pasport is always the answer, be aware there are some consulates who have asked those with new blank passports with no SETV stamps in them to show their old passsport also.
So far i have NOT heard this about Savannakhe yett, but it has been asked at other consulates.
It is NOT common, but it may br the next thing as consulates around the world are becoming aware of the new blank passport and the "first time" applicant trick.
Just a warning to the wise.
Show your income and income source, have documents ready in case asked.

I assume @elvajero is correct, but would note that this was not true years ago when I was in this situation regularly catching the last flight back from Singapore. At that time, the stamp was supposed to be based on the plane arrival time. Once, the queue was so horrendous, I was not stamped in until 00:35 am, but the stamp was still the day before with the flight number written beside the stamp.
That's how it works now as well

It should be possible to get a SETV in Hong Kong.
There is a post on this topic thread by a person who got a visa in Hong Kong recently.
The poster explains some details and info you shou;d know about getting a visa in Hong Kong.
A tourist visa is possible in Hong Kong but you need to read the posting and make sure you have what documents Thai immigration in Hong Kong wants.
If ou have the correct douments apparently you can get a SETV in 2 working days in Hong Kong.
The Thai immigration in Hong Kong is closed on weekends so take that into your planning.
I didn't know there was a Thai Immigration in Hong Kong

Avoid taxis they are almost all going to rip you off. Uber is the way to get around Penang including from/to the airport which will cost you about 150 baht.

Is today a holiday for Thai public schools?

Get help from the Pujai Bahn,(spelling police?)Chances are the girl has had problems before and if she really is mental unstable she is not to blame.
It is wise to try and win her over to your side, your wife should understand how the system works.
Try to get some help from inside the village,if this turns violent you are the one who is going to lose.
The fact that the girl is obese has nothing to do with this at all,why did you mention this?
Maybe try and talk to her and buy her a present?Have you talked to the parents directly?
I hope you can solve this in a peaceful way and moving is not necessary.
It is time for you to take charge! The wife wants to buy a gun?Are you kidding me?
It is not only your wife but you also have a bad attitude towards this girl, calling her a nutter does not do you any good.
Your think your marriage is on the clips because of this?Sounds like your wife has a few issues.
Maybe ignoring the insults and give a friendly wave?
Obese people often had bad attitudes and are jealous of others such as his wife. Totally relevant imo.
