Nobody seems to be querying the obvious - and while I am in agreement with all of you about the treatment of paedophiles how did the Thai police find out about this unless they are snooping on people on their internet use?

I mean - how private are my emails to my bank or accountants, or children, or anyone? Are my internet movements tracked secretly?

Am I paranoiac?

Well, I use geo-location block and a VPN habitually as I value my privacy. Not that I do anything wrong but it's like the feeling of being violated when you come home after a burglary to find the thieves have gone through your underwear drawer and your wife's underwear.

'Manager reported that police suspect Canete of producing indecent images'.

When I see a line like this I could read it as him being a person of interest to the police already. But then comes the interpretation of that line.

1) Is he suspected because of what was found on his computer, or does 'producing' mean he is 'uploading' to the net to like-minded pedos?

2) Does 'producing' mean he is taking the photos/videos himself?

I would doubt that his actions came to light through normal monitoring of the internet or even sites of interest. Unless he is using a static IP address, finding a person through a dynamic IP is not as straight forward as many seem to think. Tracing will certainly narrow the field but will not pinpoint in most cases. Depends a lot to how big a node he is in.

He is not alone. There are hundreds and thousands out there in this country. Go catch them if you can.

Yes and don't forget members of the establishment who should be caught, prosecuted and publicly identified in the same way as ordinary people are dealt with

Very sad. Why do these people have to come to Thailand? Simply spreading misery everywhere they go.

Because like many places in South East Asia, people are so poor, they will sell or rent the only thing of value they have. Their children.                  They will also sell drugs because it is a viable business, when they can't get work anywhere else.                      The misery is already here. "They" come with money which helps the miserable in their miserable lives, in "these" lovely countries with no mercy, no merciful government, no safety nets and no nothing.

This is the way of the Globalist Empire that is engulfing the world in it's greed and avarice.

The bow wave of the Globalist Empire spouts democracy, and opportunity and in its wake leaves misery, poverty and death.

Just because your paranoid, doesn't mean they are not after you!

When convicted, I surely hope the Thai inmates are aware of the nature of his crime, and his sick preferences.

Well if they do then he will be in good company.  It's not like they have criminal codes in prisons in Thailand.  Having child porn on a computer is pretty soft compared to the crimes of most of the inmates.  Now if he is deported to the USA then that may be a different matter

By the disgusted look on the face of the Thai Officer at far right, the pedo Yank is in for a well-deserved world of pain.

Very easy , if he transmitted a picture or downloaded one off the internet your taggeg . All files have a hash value . Its just like dna no two files are alike . The hash value of known child porn is then entered into a data base which monitors the internet world wide . When you dowload one or upload your got . I m all for it i chased these bastards for many years . You call it snooping i call it excellent police work . Fry his ass.

There is a product called a porn detection stick which can automatically find every image on a 500gb hard drive in 20 minutes. It can search all file types to overcome people who try to disguise images. It also has a blurred function as law enforcement use it to quickly identify skin pigent content in images. The blur function prevents user from being subjected to sickening content. The device can also be used by people wishing to ensure such images are not on their pc.

Probably U S or British police notified the Thai's. They are very good at tracking these guys down.

Where is the hang em high and flog em' brigade??

oiling their whips, waiting for a guilty verdict

knotting their ropes

Trotting down to the village glen to watch them hang. Remember what fun that was?

There is nothing like crime and punishment for a bit of voyeuristic pleasure. . .

So in fact it would seem "most" of these wretched pedophiles go about their business without doing too much damage, whacking off with their notebooks. While kids in abusive relationships in families cop the really bad stuff every day. If there was a hanging for every family abuse case out there, we'd be kept glued to the trap door spectacle every day of the week.
