(not in groups - no guided car - just alone!) thanks - we are planning the trip for next year in march 2018 from thailand to laos then cambodia then vietnam or viceversa! Have you ever driven in VN? It's not the same as Thailand at all. Moto drivers are completely unpredictable as to where they are going, unlike Thai moto drivers, believe it or not. VN moto drivers are completely deaf to horns as are most road users.
