A road rage incident in Ratchaburi looks set to dominate the headlines this week.

A video was posted on Social Hunter yesterday that featured a man complaining that he had been shot at in a road rage incident.

Comment was rife online that the shooter was a sergeant in the police. A gun was allegedly found in his car along with a lot of beer.

The video showed the pick-up driver complaining that he was chased by the other vehicle involved in the accident at the Don Sai intersection. A black Ford Everest with the red plate ต (tor) 5555 had its front smashed in.

The unnamed man claimed he was fleeing for his life. His pick-up ended up in the roadside undergrowth.

Thai Rath said they were trying to ascertain the details of the incident but quoted witnesses as saying there had been a barging match between the two vehicles along the highway.

They both arrived at speed at the intersection and there were several injuries.

It could not be confirmed yet if the driver of the Ford was a cop, they said.

. . . . And how did he manage to balance the beer on the car ? The rest of the story is just average day in Thailand and it's idiot drivers and needs no comment.

. . . . and that's whilst shooting a gun and being bumped off the road. I take back all I've said about Thai drivers . . . except those that are drunk, irresponsible, unable to turn right off a 2-way road, unable to spot an overtaking opportunity, unable to see the wisdom of keeping to the left, except when U-turning and overtaking, unable to reverse, unable to see through that clutter of lucky charms hanging from the mirror, and pretty well incapable of driving,. Give them 5 minutes in a UK driving test simulator and the examiner would stop the car and leg it. Give them 50 attempts and they'd fail and for one simple reason. In Thailand, YOU NEVER SEE PROFESSIONAL TUITION, or any tuition for that matter; the existing driving test is an utter joke and the powers that be wonder why Thai driving is mostly to such a terrible standard.
