Can anybody recommend a weekend away in the Surin province. Maybe you can recommend a nice city to visit. Or camping site? Im open to ideas.

I heard sisaket might be worth a visit. Whats your opinion on this?

Any ideas are appreciated.

There's not a lot to do here in Surin.

If you like nightlife, book a room in the Thong Tarin Hotel then head downstairs to Soi Kola, Surin's answer to Walking Street.

Head to the Chom Chong market just past Kap Choeng near the Cambodian border crossing.  It is pretty big and not too busy.

Then head further east from there to Buachet where there is a nice mountain top temple and some waterfalls.
