Ruud
In April i will start a breeding farm near Kamphang Phet with 50 Brahman cows. On this moment we are building a stabble for them. Does anybody has experience with providing extra light during the evening in the stabbles? Here in Holland ( were i live) it is quit normal and there are many reports about the possitive effects off the milkproduction and the extra weigt of breeding cows.. For example 16-18 hours light (150-200 Lux) and 6-8 hours darkness and the milkproduction can be possitive effected with 6-15 %. My idea is providing 25 % more "daylight (4 hours) till 22.00 pm . I will give good protection against the mosquitos of course. ps. I am also looking for a ( cheap ) animal weight scale. There are some specialised factories in Thailand but the prices are much to high. ( new about 350.000 bth.) Please give me a good adress?
