There is another thread running now where a Pedo has been caught trying to do a runner. Lol . No awards for guessing where hes from. Listen fella. Every country has its share of local kiddy diddlers. We are talking about transnational pedos. Those are mainly white, European, American and Australian. It's not personal! Google SE Asia pedophiles and it's all over the internet!

Show us the proof or it's hearsay.  The web is full of it (as well as those who mindlessly repeat it).

Lol.

But they do get the wrong people sometimes and also the "accuser" is sometimes "accusing" for dubious reasons.

Can't comment on this case but it has happened before and an innocent man's life was torn apart after being named on Thai media.

True, the headlines are big moneymakers when arrests are made, however, when suspects are found not guilty all we hear are crickets chirping.

I remember several years back in the USA a number of men were arrested for child mollesting in sting operations. (Some in TV programs) Police posed as teens in chat rooms, in one case a big corp ceo was arrested and was in all the headlines. But eventually he was found not guilty, the media silence was deafening. I read about it in an article critical of the sting operations, and the media coverage/participation.

Whereas transnational pedos within the UK, are mainly Asian, Muslim and from Pakistan.

Do not know if the Thai police racially profile white people from certain  countries in their operations. but I'm sure they target others.

Ok I didn't know you were talking about transnational pedos. I thought u were talking about pedos in Thailand.

I agree that most transnational pedos are probably from US/EU.

Do you agree that most pedos in Thailand are probably Thai?

It is frighteningly easy to make allegations of this type, and even more frighteningly hard to refute them.

First time I entered the UK I was assumed to be a pedo because I was a single man coming from Thailand. Scum customs officer spent 4 hours trying to find something to bang me up on, happily without success.

Lucky that they actually have to have proof in the UK before they can convict one. If it was up to some of the posters on here I'd have been strung up by the nuts regardless if I'd done it or not. Proof not required to string people up.

Really, so the UK customs officers indicated to you that they suspected you of paedophilia on the basis of.

1. Being male

2. Being single

3. Arriving from thailand.

Surely there's more to it than that.

No one would have said that you should have been "strung up, over a mere questioning .

Reminds me of a news story in Norway a few months ago about a single retired man , returning to Oslo after years in Thailand . He was interrogated for hours by the custom officers .  They even wanted to check his camera for kid pictures.

He was shocked and went to the media to tell his story .  So just being single male and arriving from Thailand can actually get you in trouble.

Until they come up with more than "we took their dna" scary.

And "we confiscated a camera".

For such a serious charge, I will err on the side of innocent until clear evidence shows them guilty. There is something smelly about this one. Is it some 16 year girl that lied about her age, said yes, then changed her /his mind.

After he had to let me go, much to his disappointment, he told me. Otherwise I would have thought it was just a routine stop and search.

His opinion was based on some of his mates going to Thailand, and telling him all about it. He told me about that as trying to justify keeping me for 4 hours and coming up with zero.

Sounds like the guy was acting on his own silly ideas and says a bit about the company he keeps.

They  didnt confiscate a camera, they took it as evidence .

I.E, evidence of a crime been committed

If they took their DNA, that would mean they have other DNA and they would check them both to see whether they matched

Confiscate / took it, same same but different. Everyone has a camera, doesn't mean diddly squat.

Yes, they took their dna that might match to another dna,  but perhaps they should wait for the match and checking the contents of the camera before plastering their faces all over the media.

They took it as evidence of a crime been committed

What evidence do you think was on that camera?

They didnt take it to inspect it, they took it as evidance

Evidence that a crime had been committed

Why its hurting some viewers? If the news is correct he should be exposed and get punishment period. It seems any damn news about African, Asians, Indians, Arabs some of the readers cant control their temptations of writing silly comments,

Understand that the RTP from Soi 9 arrested these men again this morning for being in possession of indescent images of children found by the CIFS on their devices which were taken as evidence at the time of their first arrests in Thailand last October.
