nomanymore Posted October 25, 2017 Share Posted October 25, 2017 Might come across as a strange question, but I am currently in Chiang Mai for a month. For my 2nd month I'm looking for a smaller setting (village...small town.) where I could practice riding a scooter (I was doing fine in a small place like Koh Chang, but the chaos on the streets of the big cities like Chiang Mai and Bangkok will probably lend me in hospital. ) but at the same time I have set myself a goal to majorly loose weight and get in shape while in Thailand, which is where Chiang Mai's gyms came in handy. So basically I'm looking for a small town/village...that has a gym? If such a thing exists. Appreciate any help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ripstanley Posted October 25, 2017 Share Posted October 25, 2017 I live in Phayao province. In Muang Phayao there are a couple of gyms that I am aware of. Our village is on the opposite side of the lake to Muang Phayao. On the edge of the lake there is exercise equipment which is free to use.
