webfact Posted October 31, 2017 Share Posted October 31, 2017 Pregnant cyclist killed in accident with van in Phitsanulok By The Nation A seven-months pregnant cyclist was killed when she was hit by a van in Phitsanulok's Mueang district early on Tuesday morning. The accident happened at 12.30am on the Nakhon Sawan-Phitsanulok road in Ban Nongna village in Tambon Bothong. The cyclist was identified as Somporn Panti, 40. The van driver, Somnuek Ubolman, 60, told police that he was returning home from Chanthaburi. He said the road was dark and he did not see the cyclist in front of him. The dead woman's husband, Pol Senior Sgt Maj Manootham Inthanrat, of Wachirabaramee police station, said his wife was due to deliver in the middle of December.
