thus proving that I know nothing about computers; two replies with no content sorry about that. I recommend Chuen Cheun golf course located on the other side of the river from Bangkok but very easy to get to from the centre of town. Weekdays are very quiet and the price is right 1060 Baht but before 1000 960Baht this includes caddy fee of 200 and it is normal to tip the caddy 200Baht. thai golfer.com gives the detail of location but useless otherwise especially in respect of a Thai Golfer card but that shouldn't worry you. It is one of the few courses in this privce range with USGA rating and slope for three standard tees and lady's tee so if you are serious about handicap it would suit. You can play a six-ball if you must in which case I would suggest you book. Have a nice game.

If you are playing on weekends, it is you need to book ahead. Weekdays are not that crowded, but still a good idea. There are many courses around Bangkok, except for a couple near the inner city, most are about an hour drive from Sukhumvit. Thaigolfer is probably a good source.

Soi Thaniya off Silom is an entire [small] mall almost entirely golf shops.
