My wheels were from an early model non-ABS The rotor is not machined at the mounting ears to allow for the tone ring carrier, which is sandwiched between the rotor and wheel. So ... Bought the current model. Big Wing CNX thru in the tone ring carrier at no charge. Cut it down to use just the mounting ears, for a more clean install. They must of spend 30 minutes looking to see if the old rotor was available - superceded Excellent service

It's sad many are built badly and don't last. I'll ride for 1.5 hrs to 2 hours and have a break then go on but not much more than 4 hours a day for these old biker bones. Look forward for this pandemic to go so I can go on 3 to 4 day ride outs staying at many different types of G/H's. ????

papa al
Took Lifan in for LED headlamp upgrade. They needed to change out the whole lens thingy. Was also having intermittent green neutral annunciation light. He fixed the switch on the tranny. B480. Will take KTM Duke in for lamp upgrade soonish. ????

You may come across a common problem of flickering at low RPM's if the LED's are not driven by 12v DC direct from a battery I encountered this when I fitted an LED bulb in direct replacement of a filament bulb to my Suzuki Raider it did not have relays fitted so draws power directly from the flywheel generator and regulator/rectifier which obviously doesn't do such a good job of rectifying the 3 phase to a single phase DC stable voltage the battery and filament bulbs don't seem to care much but LED bulbs are a bit more fussy. a wiring diagram to fix "the problem"

My bikes lights come on as soon as ignition is turned on so my twin headlights are powered direct from battery. The main reason for change is LED's I'm told don't run hot whereas my ordinarily 80/90 ones give off a lot of heat.

Nong Khai to CM is hard work but can go by way of Loei then Nan then Phayao then CM. CM to Pai then to Mae Hong Son then Mae Sariang then CM or Lampang. I look forward to dancing with the devil again on our bike rides. We ride for about 1•5 hrs, Pit-stop small can Chang and snack another 1• 5 hrs or so, another small of Chang then go look for Guest House/Resort whatever, I look forward to it again when this dam covid has gone. ????
