Can Student do part time job in Thailand?

Recommended Posts

You cannot work while on a non-ed visa or an extension of stay based upon attending a university.

If you found a job you could get a work permit and a visa/extension of stay based upon working. You can attend school while on it.

If you have skills that would allow you to work online, only with employers/clients outside Thailand, that is tolerated (not actually legal). If you want to work for a Thai employer, or work with clients inside Thailand, you must have a work permit.

3. If possible please proofread your post first, poor grammar and spelling can make the post difficult to understand. However be aware that not every member is a native English speaker and excessive posts regarding others spelling and grammar not only hijacks the topic but is poor netiquette.

Legally you can't do any kind of work on a student visa. That doesn't stop lots of students from doing it though. At Webster (I am a grad student at WUT Bangkok) they have student RA positions that offer benefits like free accommodations and other benefits.
