snoop1130 Posted January 4, 2018 Share Posted January 4, 2018 Russian woman attacked on Koh Phi Phi By Kritsada Mueanhawong FILE PHOTO Police Region 8 Commander, Pol Lt Gen Sorasak Yenprem, has ordered an urgent investigation and search to find the man who allegedly attacked a Russian woman on Koh Phi Phi on the New Year’s night. The 28 year old Russian woman (name supplied but not being made public) was celebrating the New Year’s Eve with her mother on Phi Phi. According to the police report, she was physically attacked by a man, who she detailed as ‘tall and slim’ at about 180 cm and believed to be a foreigner, at about 2 am – 3 am on January 1. Is Phi Phi becoming the next Koh Tao? Certainly two places in Thailand I will avoid, or at least not travel with a female partner to, as I'd have to be worried about her safety all the time.
