Panic and a confused state of mind causes individuals to do illogical things. I can somewhat understand if Mr Vella did a runner from the scene, but if so, strange that he didn't get the hell out of Dodge City altogether. Fact is he knew she fell...he left her to die...he says he was distraught....so much he checked into a spa hotel...then got picked up having a beer in a bar. Real caring guy.. Feel sorry for the lad, that's your prerogative, while I feel sorry for the girl's family, you know the girl he says he was banging on the balcony, where she allegedly fell to her death, while he walked off stressed, no doubt saying to himself OMG, I wonder if she is alive, OMG, I wonder should I have called an ambulance, nah, what for, they will think she fell off someone else's balcony, she just a hooker, a piece of meat, she is just a working girl, extracting dollars off of me to make a living to feed her family.
