There was no truth to the suggestion that was a misunderstanding after the alleged victim told a Russian friend to contact police. Polina Shemiakina, a yoga teacher, had arrived on the holiday island with her mother for New Year. The pair had left their hotel then got back to their room on the third floor after midnight. Polina wanted to go out again but her mother forbid it, Krabi police chief Pol Major -General Bunthawee Toraksa told Manager. But Polina sneaked out all the same and climbed down a rear pillar from the third floor room. But she fell to the base of the building seriously injuring herself. She went to hospital on the island before mother and daughter traveled to Pangnga. When her condition deteriorated she went to hospital in Phuket. Meanwhile she told a Russian friend who could speak English to contact police and tell them what happened. Due to a miscommunication and erroneous details in an online story police understood that the victim was claiming that she had been attacked and raped. This was not the case, said Bunthawee putting the record straight yesterday. The Russians have apologized to police for the confusion and no charges have been made. The Mother likely only Russian speaking as well. Since Mom probably paid the expenses for the trip, felt that midnight was late enough, but little daughter wanted to party more and it cost her , her life Sad to say RIP 28 is too young to die and so foolishly.
