8 southern provinces warned of danger from flash flood and flooding

The Thai Meteorological Department issued a warning of heavy rain and strong wind in southern provinces from Songkhla downward to the southernmost provinces today (Sunday) until Monday as a result of strong northeastern monsoon which is covering the Gulf and the South.

Boat fire off Koh Phi Phi – Chinese tourists injured

Decline in early school leavers but problems remain
