webfact
Cambodian lady boy snatch thief gang rounded up in Hua Hin Picture: NewTV A Cambodian gang responsible for "countless" snatch thefts in Hua Hin and Pattaya has been arrested. Led by a lady boy called Kong Loeun, 25, the team would approach tourists to chat them up and make suggestive comments before grabbing gold necklaces. Another lady boy called Ngaporn, 26, was also arrested along with male sex worker Tuch Vorn, 24, who received the stolen goods. Earlier French national Charles Jaussoin had fingered the gang. NewTV said that much evidence in the form of necklaces was found in a downtown Hua Hin hotel room. They said in their headline that the team were responsible for countless thefts mainly from tourists. Kong Loeun, illegally in Thailand, admitted that the gang had been operating in Hua Hin and Pattaya before getting caught.
