Jonathan Fairfield
Paradise lost and found: Tourists rescued in Koh Samui after sending location signal via mobile phone Image: TNAMcot Two tourists were rescued last night after getting lost in the hilly area of Na Muang waterfall on the holiday island of Koh Samui. The Spanish man and Brazilian woman, both 29, had earlier contacted their hotel to say they were lost. The hotel could ascertain their exact location from mobile phone technology. But the tourists said that their battery was now about to die. Police, locals and two rescue foundations swung into action traversing the dark and slippery paths. On the way they found two British people and a Canadian who were also lost and glad of their assistance, reported Channel 7 TV news. Soon calls into the gloaming were answered and the tourists who had phoned earlier were successfully rescued from the forest. -- © Copyright Thai Visa News 2017-01-
RichCor
Why does the headline not match the storyline?? As finding this many lost tourists, along the way, in a single evening ... just an odd coincidence?

FitnessHealthTravel
Can we expect a 'hiking tax' soon to rescue all these idiots that wader off in that area?

I'm scared to go into the jungle now if there are all these lost people wandering around . Might end up getting eaten by them rather than the wildlife !! wayned
I remember when I came to live and work in Samui in the late 1990's, there were many "lost" people wandering around day and night!
