Experts investigating the activities of soapy massage parlors have said that Long Beach on Rama 9 Road in Bangkok has been illegally using groundwater for the baths.

Ground water specialists said that the establishment could have made savings of up to 100,000 baht by illegally accessing the water.

Pol Col Suwat Inthasit of the cops' environment investigation arm said that the evidence was clear after water samples were taken at Long Beach.

INN news said that accessing ground water is illegal in Bangkok due to the nature of the terrain.

The massage parlor is one of several in the Victoria Secret group under investigation.

Just another standard boring comment. When you have some new message? REAL new? Surprising new? or just NEW?

Yes I see the water bill as the critical news item in this story. All of the paid off police and trafficking issues are an obvious distraction from the real crime. And they almost got away with it too.

And there was silly old me thinking that Bangkok was sinking because of rising water levels due to climate change.

Ah, well -you live and learn.

That's just mean-spirited. What's the matter, boner pills stopped working?

I suspect that the groundwater under most of Bangkok isn't good, with salt-water intrusion and pollution infiltration.  I'd  be interested to know if they had a filtration system in place or had water treatment chemicals.  Not that I have visited such a place, but I do have a borehole at home.

Yes, spot on...all misdirection and slight-of-hand BS like a magician to deflect attention away from the police and government officials that were taking-the-piss and being complicit in criminal behaviour. We have all seen it so many times. So full of it they are.
