Skype - Voipbuster

I am not really specialized in Internet, upload and download speeds.

My simple question is: is it possible to use skype or VOIPBuster with a good quality level in and around Chiang Rai?

Skype is ok phoning into Thailand, but phoning out is a different story. I always wondered of Herr Thaksin had anything to do with this.

My Skype works fine - bit of echo now n then. When u sign up u can do a test to see how good it is.

switched from skype to voipbuster several months ago mostly to make international calls. quality voipbuster better... by the way, skype raised rates yesterday!

I talk to my Dad in Australia PC to PC using Skype and Yahoo all the time. Some days are better than others, we talked for an hour today and were only cut off twice but it reconnected immediately. I've got money in a skype phone account but haven't got around to trying it yet.

I have never tried voipbuster, but I do use Skype all the time. I use both Pc to Pc and use the credit system as well. It cost me 10 Euros and I had about 5 hours of talk time to Australia. Clear everytime as well.

The interesting part of VOIPBUSTER is that the call to fix line are free in a lot of country (Thailand is one of the case)
