He didn't miss your point, you made a derogatory comment suggesting that the girl had a price.

ok .I will take a minute to clear this up for you and  issan...if you remember a few weeks ago the topic'' Haunting video of ex brit soldier and thai prostitute'' big story ..my reply was''why do we need to call the poor deceased woman a prostitute ''show some respct..this started a fireball of posts, most with the same mind set''all thai woman are for sale''.some even suggesting ''all woman have a price''..so therefore they are hookers and prostitutes.i replyd thai woman provide services ranging from live in maids to nany and lovers, they do your laundry ,make your meals and laugh at your jokes etc etc.. so..I object strongly to these derogatory pronouns. and had several heated debates with a few tvf members....then a few weeks latter the headline was '' beach hookers rounded up''again I posted ''why not call them beach woman'' ...again the debate was heated...I appreciate your response but ..i am guessing you and issan missed my point because you two were not in the ''thai woman bashing group ''which i had several bitter exchanges with...have a good evening......

I saw the pictures and I also saw the video (still online of FB); the purist Thais now - all of a sudden - complain about “Now, foreigners perceive Thailand as brothels."

Sorry, Khon Thai, all those massage places, turkish baths, karaoke and other names you call those "houses of ill repute" are very often marked in Thai language only and apparently not all are accessible by alien.

So keep your shirt on; these photos and clip were kinky but nothing to do with nudity nor trying to make those thousands of baristas losing face.

And to the coffee shop owner - congratulations; you've understood that there is no such thing as bad advertisement and you better start roasting more beans soonest possible ;-)

There will be no tomorrow for this coffee shop, it will be closed !!!

...imo silly and stupid way to market their shop and you;d need to be really hard up to go there for a coffee

Fully d'accord ... especially for Europeans such "nudity" is not worth mentioning, because you see more on the pages 5 (or 3) of most newspapers ... and you also see real beauties there, not such silicon Barbies with such boring faces.

Did I really waste my time commenting this bore??????

There should be more Facebook concern over the poor woman's pixellated back. It cannot be comfortable nor healthy to have such a personal issue as this. I am still waiting for the nude wairess to turn up with my latte porn...sorry lorn. I certainly hope the nude one doesn't suffer too from excessive pixellation.

She was already called to the police station as heard from wife. The big P with his infatuation for Lum Yai before would never let heads not to be severed if they didn’t call her in. Too bad! No harm, just fun. These top big headed hypocrites are dragging this country down fast. They need to get out, and out of the country like they chased some others.

Japan seems to be the country where the dreaded disease stikes more than anywhere else.

Some EU countries are very lucky in that a lot of the women with this skin complaint have heavy hair growth to cover it all over their body.

“Now, foreigners perceive Thailand as brothels."

I wonder if foreigners perceive Netherlands and Japan as brothels too, since Netherlands has a world-renowned red-light area, while Tokyo has its own vibrant nightlife complete with sex-toy shops and x-rated bookshops.

These netizen-cyber warrior-types really love riding on their high horses, don't they. Unless these girls are underaged, or are being forced to work without clothes on, or unless the cafe is breaking some laws, I honestly don't see a real problem here. Why can't the holier-than-thou brigade just leave people alone and get a life?

That's a question only they can answer and the answer will most likely be long, boring, and without any logic.

I realise I must still be a lot more old school that I thought if I'm the only one to dislike this kind of situation.

If I want to drink a coffee I do not want to have it served by a girl half naked, I would find it kind of inappropriate.

 :sorry:

Me too -

But ... There are (guessing) 9,999 coffee shops in Thailand which have fully clothed staff, and only one (AFAIK) with a half-dressed waitress.

Seems to me that our preferences are more than adequately catered for.

Sattahip is a Navy town, full of sailors (obviously) and "National Service" ratings. After months at sea :whistling: they deserve a glimps of tit and bum whilst drinking their coffee.

Soon the BiB will get in on the act and will have the girl waiing and grovelling with apologies to the Thai people before the news media as she goes to pay her 500 baht fine for indecent exposure.

Seems like she was just trying to make a few bucks out of modelling and that's the best work she could find while waiting for the talent scout from the Ford Model Agency to whisk her over to New York.

500 Baht sounds a little extreme, don't you think? I mean, she's not accused of hit-and-run or anything like that is she?

...and Ford? She's skinny, but not that skinny...

My fear is that it is this sort of lewd behaviour that will be the death of the girlie bar scene.  Places like Facebook are the public domain and simple rules of decency apply. Idiots.

Probably the first time FB and decency have been used in the same sentence. They conduct psychological experiments on their users. There is nothing decent about them.

Do you have to do as much as this to promote your shop?

Well, it could be a differentiator between her shop and other shops.  Welcome to the world of Free Enterprise.  Many people go and have a beer at bar or go go that has nude girls.  What is wrong with going to a shop that has nude girls to get a coffee?  Goodness gracious when will people let other adult people do what they want?  I believe in some sort of proper zoning as some things are not appropriate for young ones or other people, but let consenting adults do what consenting adults want

You don't have to undress to promote a coffee shop. People come to drink coffee, not come to a massage parlour. It’s shameful for both the model and the shop owner.”

Uh well, leave that up to the customer and model and shop owner to decide what they want or how they feel.  Feel free to wear a full body Burka in your shop if you think that will help your business
