The duo, Nathanael Arndt, 28, and Johanna Arndt, 26, entered Thailand from Malaysia in the southern province of Narathiwat. ChouDoufu
6 hours ago, Just Weird said: "The siblings made a stop in Yala province to rest, had a meal amid police security..." Right there. no context to the statement. there are uniformed soldiers with automatic rifles stationed along the main streets and market areas in some towns. not uncommon to have lunch in a noodle stall with a soldier standing on the pavement outside. could be the cyclists were joking about "police security" as they happened to have lunch where the local cops were eating. irregardless, were the meaning literal, would have expected to see a group photo with a dozen cops pointing to the cyclists.
