INCHEON, South Korea (Reuters) - North Korea's ceremonial leader and U.S. Vice President Mike Pence may have their first face-to-face encounter on Friday at the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, with Washington gearing up for more sanctions against the North.

Thai-Malaysian police join hands to help victims of call-centre scam

Phuket police bust bus-riding meth mule

PHUKET:-- A 21-year-old man was arrested attempting to smuggle 1,564 methamphetamine pills (ya bah) onto Phuket last night (Feb 8). The pills were en route to their delivery point – a government housing estate in Srisoonthorn.

PHUKET:-- A group of investors who claim to be victims of the “Srithai Network” filed a complaint at the Damrongdhama Centre (ombudsman’s office) at Phuket Provincial Hall today (Feb 9), saying they have lost B19 million in the business scheme.
