Rimmer
Monk busted for drug use SATTAHIP:--Three men, including a monk, were arrested on narcotics charges in Sattahip. Monk Anu Boon-eiem, 37, temple caretaker Natekom Kamolman, 40, and Sangwal Polcharoen, 61, were taken into custody separately Jan. 26 by district security forces. The sweep came after complaints that a monk from an unnamed Sattahip temple was smoking methamphetamines. Anu failed a drug test and confessed he used the offerings he collected to purchase ya ba through Natekorn, officials said. Natekorn confessed he purchased the drugs from Sangwait, who owns a trash-collection business. Sangwai was not caught with any drugs on him, but failed a drug test and admitted he’d smoked his remaining stock. -- © Copyright Pattaya Mail 2018-02-

KKr
What an utter disgrace, mocking monk hood like that. Thai Buddhist religious leaders have a lot of work to do before they will be respected and taken seriously again.

Sir Dude
Pretty low of the monk to be spending public donations to him on ya-ba...such a poster boy for all the monks out here. Almost looks like he's smirking in the picture whilst pointing. Or is it a failed attempt at a lip curl?
