Is Sick Leave can be brought forward to next year?

Recommended Posts

I understand that the annual leave (10 days) can be carried over to next year if the staff did not use it.

How about the sick leave, can that be brought forward to next year?

Aside from Annual Leave & Sick Leave is there any other leave that a staff is entitled to have in a year and how many days?

Thank you in advance

Don't forget paid/unpaid 45/90 days maternity leave for pregnant women.

The basics are outlined by the BOI here (though they don't discuss resets/carry-overs):

BOI:  An Overview of Thailand's Labor Regulations

fyi ...the BOI website is being really slow to load for me.

And this web article is interesting on reset vs carry over obligations:

...you may be entitled to "carry forward" your remaining leave to the year after. Check with your employer first, though. Some companies choose to re-set the leave days automatically at the year's end.
