Thanx for posting everything mate.

Just can't trust everything that's in the news, and definitely not the TV detectives.

Keep us updated.

Cheers mate

Wow, there are some normal people on this forum.

Above I have posted the police report, that was given to me the day it happened, but since you requested more, here you go.

I have posted the original claim that Jose was out, with a photo, the police reports, what the people in the bar told me, what Jim said happened, what the Thai autopsy didnt reveal and what the Australian coroner said.

Everytime I post people want to turn it into an argument.it is water off a ducks back for me

All the other clowns who called me a liar, buffoon etc all together came up with a single facebook photo and repeated what they read in foreign newspapers, by reporters that are not even here, so actually just copied unsubstantiated rumors from the internet.

What was the American wearing on his feet?

If he was wearing flip flops as would be normal for most, then IMO, there would be more chance of impact damage (fractured eye socket) from a knuckle than a flip-flop even given the increase of force caused by stomping.

Again, assuming he was wearing flip flops.

You recieved that information from my post.

Listen, the Australian coroner knows what they are doing.

You dont.

So she says they were only playing around or acting .....  and he attacks    ??     I call it BS ..

The story doesn't add up .....

I have seen a video taken of them playing around. Not CCTV, but taken by someone who also thought it was funny to watch.

The only person who would have felt any pain was Ben. And he was seeing the funny side of it as was everyone else.

The "choking until she was blue" was fabricated as an excuse by the American.

Jaa admits it herself. Go and ask her, go to Ruby bar, look for the girl with the tattooed face and simply ask her, dont make up krap.

He was still in Nong Plalai when I visited another American the other day. After it was reported that he was running around Jomtien, I might add.

Can you confirm whether or not you actually saw him with your own eyes please?

Get real, they let him out for a weeks further holiday perhaps?

they must have asked him kindly if he can turn up for the re-enactment.

the man is in the can....and will be for a long time, the bar girls

acknowledgement that they were only playing is not going to help his self defense and doing it for her explanation......

Which can?

Yes, you are confused because there hasn't been anything said about a court case. You are just trying to start a rumour

That would be the court case that was reported to have been held last week.

It didnt happen. Nor did the reenactment!!

Close to 6000 posts of complete drivel.

If I wasted that much of my life posting on a forum on which I dont personally know anybody I would slap myself in the face and tell myself to get a life!

I have checked my facts, which is the only reason I posted on this forum. I thought that is what it might be for. But it is instead just a big argument with people who dont know the facts, but want to put there two bob in. What facts have you actually posted relating to this? Zilch. i dont need to tell abunch of people who I dont know my opinion on everything. Why do you feel the need to post you uninformed opinions?

So I am wet behind the ears, but you were the one who claims to have lost millions to the Thai police? Let me guess, your teeruk was involved?

I havent got the time or the interest to read your 6000 uninformed opinions.

The fact was last Friday Jose was walking around free. You wouldnt have a clue.

So everyone is supposed to believe your "facts", but not anyone else's.....have I got that correct?

" had a fractured eye socket, probably from a punch. " And probably could have been from a stomping.

We will soon know the truth when American  does the re-enactment . If he shows himself stomping then that settles it but if he does not show any stomping then it was just accidental death from one punch. End of story.

Anyone hazard  a guess as to what it will be?

you think if he did stomp on the aussie that this guy is so honest hes gonna admit it by doing it in the reenactment?

hmm i know guys like this have a low IQ but...

As I mentioned in my post, I was visiting another American in Nong Plalai who told me that he was chatting with him and helping him out with food as he was a fellow American. It is impossible to see anyone there with your own eyes unless you are visiting them, or that person happens to be on a visit of their own at the exact same 15 minute session. Having said that, the person I am visiting has absolutely no reason to lie to me. Quite the opposite actually. I shall be visiting Nong Plalai again this coming week, probably on Monday and I will provide this forum up to date information on if he is still in there then when I get home.

On a secondary note, I would generally advise against getting into arguments with other posters, or make demeaning comments about their post history. Everyone is keen to know the truth, and being hostile doesn't help anyone. It is a forum and people are entitled to their views. I will update the forum and message you personally with what I find out as soon as I have the up to date and accurate information.

I suppose the continuous stomping on the deceased's head had nothing to do with causing the brain hemorrhage ???

The report of him not being in custody was most likely posted by someone believing what they had read.....same as you guys are!!!

‘dotpoom’ refers to ‘continuous stomping on the head’ , were you there? How do you know this happened?

Never automatically believe what you read in the papers or hear on the News!!

Until a translation is provided, most members on here won't have a clue as to what this says.

Until someone provides CREDIBLE evidence that he's out on bail, I'm going with the Pattaya Mail article that he's still in custody....I don't regard a screenshot of him outside Jomtien immigration as credible evidence....I think it's entirely possible that he was being 'escorted' when this this pic was taken.

Lifting a woman up by her neck, is a strange way to play. One I have never seen before. Is this what they call rough play? Perhaps prior to intervening, it would have been a good idea to ask the woman if she was in distress?

I have been in many a bar, in Samui or Pattaya, where it was quite obvious some of the blokes were itching for a fight. I tend to stay clear of these goons. Nothing good can come of it.

12 February 2561

Re: Individual of Australian nationality loses his life

To: Australian Embassy, Thailand

On the 9th of February, at about 19.00 hours, officials at the investigating department at Pattaya local police station received information that a tourist had caused harm to a person, who was injured.

The incident happened inside the Ruby Club, on Soi 6, Pattaya Beach Road, Moo 9, Tambon Nawng Bpru, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province. After receiving the information, the commander-in-chief was informed, and they went to investigate.

From investigation at the scene, they found out that the perpetrator was a foreign national who was no longer at the scene. The person who had been injured was also a foreign national who had been taken to Pattaya Memorial Hospital.

At the hospital, they learned that the injured man was named Mr Benjamin Matthew Robb, aged 42, an Australian citizen, passport number N1170894, who had received injuries and was lying in the intensive care unit, unable to give a statement.

Later on, at about 20.30 hours, Mr Jose Manual Polanco Jr., aged 43, passport number 524029783, together with his girlfriend Miss Chatchanan Konchalat, came to meet officials of the police, and from investigation learned that, before the incident happened, on the 9th of February 2561, at about 15.30 hours, the deceased and Mr James Launder, an Australian citizen, had arrived to sit and drink at the bar where the incident occurred. At around 17.00 hours, Mr Jose Manual Polanco Jr. and Miss Chatchanan Konchalat arrived at the bar to drink, going to sit at a table at the left edge of the room, about one metre away from where the deceased and his group were sitting.

At about 18.30 hours, while sitting and drinking, the deceased was joking with Miss Rungarun Sengsuwan, a receptionist at the bar, by squeezing her throat and lifting her until her feet were off the floor.

When Mr Jose Manual Polanco Jr. saw this, he moved in to discourage this, making the deceased angry at the interference, to the point where he complained,  and then aimed a punch at Mr Jose Manual Polanco Jr.'s face.

Mr Jose Manual Polanco Jr. evaded the blow and punched the deceased 3 to 4 times in the facial area until he fell down unconscious.

After that, the person who looked after the bar telephoned the Pattaya Memorial Hospital to come and take the victim to hospital.

Later on, at about 03.30 on the 10th of February 2561, the victim passed away. The officials therefore issued an indictment to Mr Jose Manual Polanco Jr. and led him to issue an arrest warrant at the Provincial Court in Pattaya.

The body of the deceased was sent to the Nittiwej Institude at the Police Hospital to be autopsied in detail.

The incident occurred in the Ruby Club, Soi 6, Pattaya Beach Road, Moo 9, Tambon Nawng Bpru, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province, on the 9th of February 2561 at about 18.30 hours.

RE - Mr Jose Manual Polanco Jr. evaded the blow and punched the deceased 3 to 4 times in the facial area until he fell down unconscious.
It seems to be something missing in the translation....

Based on ALL the information that have been revealed after the insident this letter seems to be a copy of the offenders statement which tell that after the deceased failed to punch him he was punching the deceased 3-4 times in the face on the way down to the floor and thats it despite several statements from the scene in addition to CCTV captures from a neighbouring bar that clearly states that the offender after hitting him Down jumping 10-15 times on the deceased head - hmmmm, should we be surprised...??....:coffee1:

Investigators have since acquired CCTV footage of the brutal bashing, and told 9NEWS it will form a critical part of the investigation.

Police Superintendent Apichai Kroppech said the vision, which will not be released to the public, clearly shows Mr Robb being punched in the face then kicked while he lay on the ground at least 10 times.
