The Thai autopsy listed the cause of death as "heart and lung failure"

Which is, unfortunately, exactly what they always say, they never say what was the actual cause of death, i.e. exactly what it was that made the heart stop and therefore breathing in the first place.

As promised folks, I have been to Nong Plalai prison and I can confirm that Jose is definitely out on bail. Apparently he got out the evening after my last visit to the person I visited today, which was at the end of the week before last, so about 15th or 16th February.

Dazler, who was much derided, appears to have been correct that he was indeed out and about.

No need for an autopsy to understand when a person dies the heart and the lounges have shut Down as this is obligatoric and will always happen regardless...

Wonder how the autopsy process are performed. Checking pulse and breath, if no then check the heart and the lounges. If shut Down the person is confirmed dead caused by heart and lounge failure. Hopefully the process goes further to find out what actually caused the hearth and lounge failure if its not to much to hope for...:coffee1:

All foreigners who die from suspicious circumstances are taken to Bangkok police hospital for autopsy. Many families who are properly advised get a second one done by Porntip Rojanasunan.

With the statements from witness and the CCTV captures - what more is needed to check his head for internal bleading/damage?

Dazler were right all along , he has been out , enjoying life with his Hooters girlfriend since the day after he was arrested.  Maybe he has connections with the police,

I would not like to bump into him , that's for sure,

Only video after the fact is from cell phones . Fight took place inside the bar, impossible for another bar to have good footage as the bar is too dark inside at night. I went there to see exactly if it would be possible and it isn't.

Don't take my word for it, go there buy a lady a drink, they are talking.

I dont take Your Word for it - I take Police Superintendent Apichai Kroppech Word for it as he has looked the footage which clearly showed whats happened:

"Investigators have since acquired CCTV footage of the brutal bashing, and told 9NEWS it will form a critical part of the investigation.

Police Superintendent Apichai Kroppech said the vision, which will not be released to the public, clearly shows Mr Robb being punched in the face then kicked while he lay on the ground at least 10 times."

RE "Jose Manuel Polanco Jr is out on bail"

Interesting to se how the different countries handle the bail process in similar cases:

Australia

(1) The offender has not been previous convicted for murder

(2) It has been thrown just 2 or maybe 3 punches in one attack.

(3) The victim died at the scene

* The incident took Place 25th of Dec-17, the offender was Arrested on 28th of Dec-17 and have since then applied to be released on bail 2 times in the period between Jan 4th og Jan 25th which both were refused by the Court.

The matter is next listed for mention in Tweed Heads Local Court on Tuesday March 13.

https://www.northernstar.com.au/news/dj-murder-case-accused-applies-bail-lismore-court/3318951/

Thailand

(1) The offender has been convicted for a previous (2nd degree) murder

http://www.hotties-pattaya.com/2018/02/american-accused-of-killing-australian.html

(2) It was thrown 3 or maybe 4 punches followed up with multiple kicks in addtion to jumping on the victim's head 10-15 times AFTER the victim had felled uncousious to  the ground

(3) The victim died at the scene

* Bail given WITHIN a few days and no information of what will happen next....

--------------------

Main differences ("if we omits the bribery theory"):

Australia - Involved less brutality, BUT included an arrest 3 days after the incident had taken Place.

Thailand - The Pattaya case was far more brutal, performed by a person who have been previous convicted for a similar crime, BUT he was not arrested as he shortly after the incident handed himself over to the police claiming he had acted in selfdefence and as a compassionate samaritan - It seems to be those small but important details in a legal recipe that make up the difference between those 2 cases when it comes to the outcome of the temporary release against bail process...??...

Exactly!

I have heard of these autopsy results a few times,  for example a Female Aussie colleague died here very suddenly at a relatively young age, same result, her son never did find out the why.

Thailand is “different” and those expecting similar levels of justice to their home countries can often get a rude awakening.

As an example there is a case from a few years back still making its way through the system where some police officers have been actually convicted of murder and sentenced to death yet are out on bail awaiting appeal and still serving as active police officers.
