rooster59 Posted February 24, 2018 Share Posted February 24, 2018 4 Rohingyas sentenced to death for 2016 attack of police outpost Four Rohingyas who were accused of involvement in the attack of a police outpost in northern Rakhine state in October 2016 were on Friday (Feb 23) sentenced to death by a special court in Maungdaw township, according to The Irrawaddy News Online on Saturday. The four were among 30 Rohingyas found guilty of involvement in the attack of Nga Khura police outpost in northern Maungdaw township on October 9, 2016 which left two security officers dead. The other 26 convicts were handed down prison terms ranging from 10 to 20 years. Another 15 suspects were found not guilty and released. The Rohingya are well funded, Saudi backed, Pakistani trained terrorists.
