Photo: PR Dept PHUKET: Phuket Governor Norraphat Plodthong has ordered improvements to the landscape at the Phuket Stray Dog Shelter in Thalang and that a wastewater-treatment system be installed at the facility. During his visit to the shelter visited yesterday (Mar 1), Governor Norraphat also invited people to donate money for dog food and to build cages for the dogs, which currently number about 400 at the shelter. “After this inspection I have ordered the Phuket Provincial Livestock Office and relevant agencies to improve the landscape in front of the entrance, to install a sign for the shelter and have pictures identifying the dogs for people to see clearly,” he said.
