Photo: Eakkapop Thongtub PHUKET: An auction of special licences plates held over the weekend and organised by the Phuket Land Transport Office (PLTO) raised more than B21 million for the national Road Safety Fund, which stages road-safety campaigns and provides support for victims of road accidents. The auction, held at Phuket Rajabhat University on Saturday and Sunday from (Mar 3-4), raised B21,747,998, PLETO staff confirmed today (Mar 5). Up for auction were a total of 301 car-registration plates with the Thai letters “KorWor” (กว).
