Video shows Middle Eastern man attacking Thai massage girl

How many people have said something to their partner and got a tongue lashing in return and they have not understood what it was they said to upset her in the first place? You can count me in on that one!

As I've already said, the Arab is showing considerable restraint. His body language tells me he is somewhat bemused by it all. And I also know, from many years experience in the region that Gulf Arabs, which I suspect this man to be, are quite mild mannered on not given to temper tantrums, unlike many Thais!

And contrary to the rubbish I've read on this thread, Arab men do not all treat their women like trash. That is typical stereotyping from ignorant people who have probably never visited the region, let alone gotten to know its people.

Not that I condone violence but the report very clearly states the guy was attacked first by the girl who "kicks out then hits him with a water bottle"

Yeah, OP should be titled:

Video shows Thai massage girl attacking Middle Eastern man

I can't help but wonder what language they were conversing in. I can't get my mind around a Thai massage gal learning Arabic, but nothing is impossible.

Maybe he made a "Cheap Al Charley" offer for her services that she considered it a really serious insult? Maybe she was simply illustrating her GFE skills (Girl Friend Experience) skills. Or maybe she needs some customer relations training.

I was enjoying this post until I read 'gotten to know its people', what is it with Americans and 12th century English words. No history I guess.

I'm British, but I sometimes like to inject a little controversy. Seem like it worked.

Oh, I also do not like the word 'got'. It's so base and guttural.

did not look like the man "attacked" anyone! he was just sitting there probably discussing the price and the broad started with her kicking shit! she got what she deserved! when a woman raises her hand at a man without provication, then she deserves everything she gets!

Even if not quite clear where it happened, but it was "back home".

Somewhere in the Gulf states where many Thai women are lured to work at massage places.

I have a problem with the assumption they are 'lured'. Isn't it more the chance to fork in more money than they would get in an Isaan roadside parlor?

Sure they know that they will massage more than only feet.

But do they know how they will be treated by customers and basically been locked up?

Much rougher conditions than in Pattaya.

Hitting a 55kg woman is not brave. It's cowardly. Block a punch then walk away.

Be a man.

And get royally thwacked on the back of the head

The guy was sat down and calm, although he told her to go ahead and hit him.

What difference does it make what he said, she decided to act with violence.

If the Thai woman had said the wrong thing then would it be ok for the man to attack her first?

You obviously have no idea how disgusting those arabs can behave to women.

Advise to all Thai women, don't ever go to work in whatever capacity in any of the arab or even islamic countries, you are viewed upon as infidel filth.

Your reply makes no sense, I was not talking about the races of those involved, I was simply asking if it would have been ok if the roles were reversed.

What if the woman had said the wrong thing that the man attacked her, would the woman then get the blame (equality for all?)?

Why is it ok for a woman to attack a man but when the man reacts he is wrong?

So when a Thai woman smashes a (plastic) full bottle of water in someones face, kicks in front of him and probably insulting him too, the man is a dangerous predator...........she was at the receiving end, if a disagreement was in place one of the many women present should have stepped in and removed the female aggressor first before talking on a solution.

This sort of violent behavior is not unusual in Thailand but abroad suggest a poor background.

.

Maybe he was really: " while others warned of the risks for Thai women who go working in massage parlours overseas..."

Silly girl.....I really hope she is back home in Thailand already and if not she needs to get the hell out of the UAE on the next flight because those people are worse than Thais for losing face and he will be back more than likely with the Camel Cavalry.

In fact everyone involved needs to watch their backs.

A former resident of the Mideast kingdom told me such incidents are common in Bahrain, where Saudi men go to play. It's a real headache for the Thai embassy there which has to deal with repatriation.

You can drive over the bridge to Bahrain from KSA. I used to go some weekends. Always busy. But quick and efficient border controls; customs fine as long as you don't be stupid and try and bring booze back. And it's free to enter Bahrain unlike the Airport where you had to pay and entry free. Transport company we used said groups of ladies also went over to party!

Massive lady business over there - Chinese, East European, Filipinas as well as Thais and Arab girls.

The rough end, like this looks, cater for the cheap charlie poorer type locals and workers.

There are plenty there who want to be too. I saw 2 deported couple of years ago. Escorted to the departure gate by very polite police sergeant who handed them over to the air staff. They were told to remain next to the gate. Which they sort of did whilst trying to chat up men travelling alone. They were giving their Thai phone numbers out and arranged to meet two farangs when the plane landed in the baggage reclaim area. They weren't slow at getting potential customers!

You have possibly stumbled upon a clue there. The language they would probably use is English. It's the most common 'link' language used in that region.

But whatever, as many of us know, when a Thai lady gets narked, she often reverts to her native Thai, which could explain the bemused look on the Arab's face.

Thanks. First got "narked" then got "nuked". Almost as exciting as getting "naked" and then getting... oh, what would be the most apt n-word for it (ending in "ed")?  Oh, I just remembered - "nailed", of course.

Would it be confusing to say she got "nailed" instead of getting "nailed"?
