Pollution will be eradicated, hotels will be replaced by beach huts and as no police will be necessary Reggae bars under trees will thrive. Can't wait. The poor guy just thought a tracking bracelet was a good idea, that's all, hadn't got the faintest clue that it was used to monitor criminals in the world outside, no doubt reckoned it was his own original concept, and was probably thinking of taking out a patent on it! This wristband will make it very easy for criminals to target the tourist. Of course, the police will also have a field day with this badge that you have money to spend most likely on your person. I think they will be color coded plastic wristbands so it will make it easy to see who all the newest tourists are. I think this will be such a great success that they will make every farang wear one. If not, then the "Bad" tourist will just rip off the wristband. I can see the companies trying to make it more acceptable by making it a device to pay at point of purchase, or something like that.
