mtls2005
Good to know that "sarcasm" is now deemed "illegal" by the Junta. VOICE TV PROGRAM SUSPENDED OVER JUNTA CRITICISM A minute from the meeting obtained by Khaosod English shows the program on the December evening violated the MOU that bans criticism of the military junta. It said the March 1 program was found to be “sarcastic” against the national leader. “The sarcasm was too much and caused confusion. What was said was not truthful, such as government corruption or comparing [Prayuth] to Pinocchio, which is tantamount to saying the premier is a liar,” the minute read. http://www.khaosodenglish.com/politics/2018/03/20/voice-tv-program-suspended-over-junta-criticism/
Radar501
Life imitating Art. The evolution of playing cards took a change of direction in French society during the late 1700's. The lowest card in the deck (ace) was now able to trump the highest card (king). This reflected the French Revolution where the lowest class in society (bourgeoisie) overthrew the ruling class (nobility). The Military Junta will now ban card games in Thailand. Otherwise it may just sow the seeds of social unrest.
