New TV reported that two foreigners - a Swiss man and a Swede - were found dead on Friday. There were no suspicious circumstances in either case with both expected to have died of natural causes.

Cops and local foundation rescue were first called to Tropical Paradise Garden where 81 year old Dieter Chawn (name transliterated from Thai language) was found dead in bed at a well appointed bungalow. The

Swiss national had been deceased about one hour.

Later at Golf View Community on Soi Golf View on the Hua Hin to Nong Plap Road a 60 year old Swedish man by the name of Peter Ray Nielsen was found.

He was discovered naked and face down in a bathroom and had been deceased around two hours.

The maid said that she had last seen him enjoying a beer before she found the body.

Both men were taken to Hua Hin hospital for autopsy.

So one day you will be reading about me dying in bed with two girls and a bottle of Viagra.

RIP.

That's the way to go.....

And only because you live in a region covered by the "media".

Up here foreigners die and you will never read about it.

You're not complaining, are you?

I'd rather my loved ones back home be spared from reading about me being dead, naked, and lying face down in the bathroom.  A little decorum would certainly not diminish the value of these reports.

Yet again my ignorance surprises me. So it does not come in blue pill's any more??

I guess it is a logic way to go. 1 bar fine and a bottle of Viagra to go ....

Hua hin? I would say they died of boredom.

I was in Hua Hin last week. Couldn't believe the number of bars and bar girls. Makes Chiang Mai seem very tame.

Was drunk from 11am to 2am every afternoon/night.

Hua Hin is the new party town.

If  you think it's boring, you ain't been.

My last look at  "Viagara" in Thailand indicated that a large amount was not genuine Viagra. In respect to the Pfizer proprietary brand,  it is typically counterfeit. The other  versions are the  "generic"  formats from India and China and sometimes Thailand. They may not be the same efficacy or quality and can contain different components aside from the supposed active ingredient. The end result si that they may not work as they should or may cause adverse reactions. One must be very prudent when purchasing pharmaceutical products outside of jurisdictions where there are compliance and quality requirements.

I am surprised none of the  TVF hysterical folks have shown up to claim "rabies" as the  cause of death.

Thailand now has their own legitimate brand 'Sidegra' which can be bought over the counter in many Thai pharmacys. It works very well and no side effects so far after 2-3 years use. Also India has huge legit. drug manufacturing companies like 'Cipla' who sell their own version of viagra. I have even had NHS prescribed medicine in the UK manufactured by Cipla. Most Indian viagra I have used in the past has also been good quality. All legit Indian viagra has the manufacturer's name printed on the back of the foil packs. I will not buy it if this is not shown.

The higher end demographic cares. Not everyone who is in Thailand is here to sexually exploit children or the mentally incompetent or the poor.  Hua Hin and Cha Am is not a sex tourism destination and  that suits the hundreds of thousands of quality visitors and residents just fine. I can do better than sit in some dumpy beer bar chatting with an uneducated sex trade worker, thank you, and so can many others.

Hua Hin has a  great number of self assured and mature Thais in the 18-30 age group. It is a nice change from what one has to deal with in some tourist towns.   Outside of the redlight district, tourists are relatively well dressed , polite and well behaved. There are few if any brawls of the type one sees in Samui, Patong, Pattaya etc.  This is why Hua Hin Cha Am is the destination of choice  for quality foreigners.   And quality doesn't exclude those of modest means.

Waste your money on Pfizer then, at five times the price of the generic, manufactured and authorised by the Thai FDA. Nobody's the poorer but you.

I do not use Viagra as I do not have an advanced state of heart disease. In respect to the generic versions, the point is that the drugs can be brought in outside of the authorized channels. In much of the world, popular drugs are the first to be counterfeited. That typically includes products such as anti malarials, erectile dysfunction variants, statins, and common anti virals. The branded "Viagra" in Thailand is one of the most counterfeited of drugs. Care must be taken when purchasing drugs.

Have you read post number 24 ? Sidegra is sold in pharmacies; as you don't use Viagra yourself, how can you speak of products that you don't use ?

Seriously painting a picture of tourists that don't flock to Hua hin as child molesters?

You have some serious issues to deal with.

The place is DEAD untill 8pm. I recently spent 4 weeks and it was far worse than chiang mai

The best thing about Hua hin is the new ferry out of there
