The accident occurred as Pornthep Jailert, 27, was driving fast in the area of the temple of Wat Thung Krat in Bang Lamung. Picture: TNews The car overturned after hitting a power pole but Pornthep managed to get out before it burst into flames. He was taken to hospital as police, fire and rescue services attended to scene at 4.40am today. TNews said that it was believed that the driver did not fall asleep at the wheel and was probably drunk and unable to control his vehicle. He will be interviewed again. He should have be interview right on the spot with a officer tagging along with him to the hospital for treatment. While getting treatment his blood should have been taken to check the level of alcohol. Once the level come back position as soon as possible he should be arrested and booked on drunk driving and property damage and a court date set.
