happy2
A couple of questions - is the re-entry permit desk at Suvarnabhumi open throughout Songkran? I'm flying out on the first day of it and am planning to get one at the airport. Secondly, is it likely to be busier than usual at this time? A lot of expats seem to leave the country at this time every year, so I could imagine a surge in the demand for re-entry permits around the beginning of the Songkran holiday as compared to usual - anyone got one before at this time?Departure immigration might also be busier for the same reason I guess. ubonjoe
The re-entry permit desk will be open. They do not close for holidays or weekends. It might be a little more busy than normal so it be wise to allow a little more time than the normal of about 20 minutes. The AOT has already advised people be at the airport 3 hours early for their flights out. 1
