What was the crime? I think the police where upset they did not receive a proper invite so they decided to roust every one.

It was illegal for the Chinese man to charge money to attend his party with out a license for this endevor. It was also a crime to attend said illegal party. The druge at the scene now compounds the crimes.

Where'd the clip go? Watched it, then shared it with a Thai friend...and now it's not showing. Hmm...

Yep its gone, had a look too. Could be one of those "defamation" things ...or the TAT has blocked it to keep the buffalo tourist numbers up.

I'd be more likely to believe that Siamchon changed the URL location, since clicking on the link to their website still works to pull up a video.  Doesn't seem to be anything nefarious going on...

drugs were found. That's illegal. Orgies are considered immoral in Thailand, so not allowed either. Whether you like it or not, agree with it or not - irrelevant. This is Thailand, that's how it works here

Read it again. Sex Drugs were found. That's viagra, kamagra etc. possession of which is not illegal. The meeting up in a hotel is not illegal. They were involved with consenual sex, which is also not illegal and there is a difference between illegal and immoral.. About their only possible offence could be a gathering or more than half a dozen people, though I don't think they look like political activists.

Paying for sex is pretty much a textbook definition of "prostitution", which I believe is illegal in LOS.

Unless you actually believe that they found a enough women willing to pay 1500 baht to match the number of guys who paid that amount?  If the women had to pay, (edit: actually, if the women didn't get paid) they'd be guilty of a sausage fest.  I'm not sure that would be illegal...

Initially the video was viewable and to me it now appears unavailable.

I found it  interesting  in that while  Thailand has a  near fixation on "face"  there was no regard for "face" in this instance  period.

As  I see it  a group of people got together for some  mutually consenting carnal activity and it somehow offended the sensibilities of some.  Yeah yeah, it was a large drug party busted up.   Sure.

How is it possible that in one article there's an uproar about a schoolgirl showing some cleavage while at the same time the police  allowed the posting of a video with   numerous people standing in nothing but their birthday suits.

The police seemed to me to accomplish showing  no respect for these people at all.   They wanted to take away as much dignity as possible.

They weren't paying for sex though. There is no report that girls were charging the fellas anything. They simply paid to turn up. What then happened (well nearly, cos the cops stopped it), was a consensual sex session between like minded people, behind closed doors. If the cops were looking for prostitution, well it isn't too hard to find in Pattaya now is it?

Viagra etc are frequently quoted as being illegal in sex busts of any kind.  Perhaps they belong to a class that you are meant to have a scrip for but is widely ignored.  I was declined at a Watsons in a mall once (in Chonburi I think) because they wanted a prescription for Sidegra.

Scores? Certainly didn't refer to numbers - Siamchon News mentioned 25 (that is only one score plus some extras)! Another reporter or headline writer being very liberal with the truth.

Guess they were meaning there were many 'scoring'

A group of like minded people have got together for an exotic evening. I am interested to know what laws they were actually breaking.

I guess the good news is all the potential instructors couldn't attend having been previously arrested.

May-be they visited Thailand to improved their health...

You honestly believe that the guys paid 1500 and sex wasn't on the menu?   Try it in Denver, or London, or Singapore.  Let us know how your legal theory pans out.

If it doesn't violate  TVF rules, I'd love to see someone post a copy of the ad  for this sinful event

I wonder if it was a BYOB (substitute Babe for the last B).

Good thing I never saw the advert.     I wouldn't  favor being displayed in mockery in nothing but my skin.

Looks like the BIB were kind enough to distribute towels for the otherwise naked photo-op.  Those photos could have been a lot scarier...

You didn't look hard enough..

As for the schoolgirl, she's under 18, this lot are well over.

Drugs sure, illegal hotel ok... But morality police makes no sense. If Thailand wants to be taken seriously on morality issues they need to make some much bigger policy comittments, else it's disingenuous

Thanks for that ratcatcher.

I saw the video and reported on it.    I wasn't interested in searching for it to view again.    I was  just  wondering about it being  initially posted and then being removed.

And as for the cleavage matter, unless you're telling me cleavage on a female less  than 18 is illegal  what's the point?        Once more that becomes one of those slippery morality issues.

Maybe beaches should be banned in Thailand if cleavage is illegal.
