Waiver

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

Looking for advice on teaching waivers. I am currently on my 3rd one I believe which will expire mid 2019. I only have a BSc degree and am currently not ready to do a PGCE or any other education related courses. How serious is this? Is it a case of paying under the table or will I genuinely not get another waiver and therefore be unemployed?

Thanks,
Scotty

It is not a case of paying under the table. If you will get a fourth waiver depends on the circumstances, like do you study to become a qualified teacher and how long have you been at your current school. Changing schools every year is something they will frown upon.

It most certainly is. If the school wants you, they can get a waiver.
