webfact
Beach vendors raided on Koh Racha By Kritsada Mueanhawong Umbrellas and other beach vendors’ products have been seized during a beach management enforcement at Patok Bay on Koh Racha Yai, south of Phuket. There were 6 vendors who were charged for breaking the law by renting umbrellas and mats while also selling other items on the beach area. Umbrellas, mats, floating devices, snorkeling masks, surf boards, waterproof phone bags and swimsuits were seized at the scene. However, after checking 50 boats parked at the beach front, the beach management officials didn’t find any of them anchored in the prohibited area and they didn’t find any tour companies allowing sea walking activities neither (walking on the sea bed). quandow
In this "hub of inconsistency," it hard to know WHAT the rules are. I thought they had all this umbrella nonsense figured out. Jomtien beach now has plenty of umbrellas as well as areas with none, it's worked out nicely for all concerned. By the way, how are those dart board permits coming along?
