webfact Posted April 30, 2018 Share Posted April 30, 2018 Naked corpse fished out of Kanchanaburi river believed to be Ratchaburi man Picture: Thai Rath Police in Kanchanaburi were called to the Khwae Yai river where a member of the public saw a floating corpse of a man. Foundation medics helped to bring the man aged about 50 - 60 to the bank near the Nong Bua bridge in Muang district. He was balding and heavily tattooed. There was no ID and he was completely naked. Medics were unable to say how he had died but he had multiple wounds to the body that was already in an advanced state of decomposition having been in the water an estimated 5 - 6 days. The body was sent for detailed autopsy. Muang district police late Sunday said they believed the man to be 51 year old Puy Phromnet who had applied for Thai ID at Ratchaburi. province.
