Hell's Angels in Isarn

Recommended Posts

Funny. There're 2 old blokes in a restaurant somewhere in Issan. They have motorbikes and are wearing som jackets with some kind of colours on them.

They were probably in that restaurant to collect their protection money. Maybey they were dropping off a stash of class A. Of course they were. That is why they were wearing their jackets with  " I'm a big shot criminal get me out of here" colours on the back.

So funny I think I  [email protected]@ed myself.

Reminds me of the old Batman and Robin, were all the criminals wear a uniform (joker, riddler, penguin etc) so they are easily identifiable.

Hells Angels and other criminal "bikers" are not old blokes.

They don't have much interest in Isan.

Hells Angels are where the "business" is, like at the family resort on the east coast where they murder/beat to death a defaulting member and dig the remains in the forest.

A fellow from Germany is a member of some MC in Pattaya.

He is a retired government worker (judiciary) and nothing to fear of.

Some simply enjoy this kind of comradeship, rituals, hierarchy, "uniforms"/vests.

Seems to bring some "orientation" to their life.

fairly judgemental post from someone who suggests he knows what he's talking about. there's a group of thai bikers i see on sundays near where i live, they ride the big bikes, wear all the leather gear with gang patches etc. but are basically a decent group of guys who like bikes and going on rides. they sit in restaurants and cafes and there's absolutely nothing criminal or anti-social about them - apart from the noise from the bikes!

I had  a flatmate and old friend who was a 1% er in ether UK. He was a really nice bloke. Shame he ended up getting a 5-year sentence for drug dealing. Tony Soprano came across as a really nice guy.

" I was involved with these gangs in my criminal days and certainly don't want my kids mixing with them. "  Looks a lot like your kids are already involved with ex criminals.

Just sayin !

What do you have against EX criminals? Just asking.

I am more concerned about the high number of posters who claim they work for the Thai police.

Can't say I've seen any posters at all claiming they work for the police, let alone a high number.

Believe me, if they are wearing 'colours' - 90% of their activity is criminal, no matter what country they are in or what nationality they are.  If they are wearing the 'colours' of a gang they don't actually belong to or not an active member of, they will at some point come to serious grief. These types of motorbike gangs raise their cash from drug dealing, trafficking, protection, and low level arms dealing. I know because my mate belongs to one of the gangs in the UK and until recently, made regular trips to Thailand to conduct 'business' with his Thai counterparts.

However, when they are not up to such activity, they are just normal bikers and of course they go out for runs together, sit in restaurants and behave themselves as you suggest - they even raise funds for charities but don't be fooled, they are behind an awful lot of organised crime in any country.

Not all motorcycle riders who wear colours are Hells Angels or into criminal activities, in fact they are the minority not the Majority (your quote 90%). Most motorcycle clubs, are for and run my members from all walks of life, who just enjoy riding motorcycles. In our MC here in the UAE, we have Air Line Pilots, Lawyers, Doctors and other professional people as members. Every year we do several events to raise awareness and funds for various charities and our club is 100% family orientated.

I've also met a few bikies here. I hope you use your police connections to kick them the hell out of Isarn, they are not welcome.

Don't worry mate, they have no chance in setting up here.?

I wonder if the restaurant/bars are being asked for money.
