jakow
My wife is currently employed at a small company and she wants to start her own company in her free time. The owner of the company that employs her told her that if she registers her own company, they will need to remove her from her employee health insurance. As a westerner this obviously sounds ridiculous. Is what the owner is saying correct?
Russell17au
Is the health insurance paid for by the company? If the company that she currently works for is paying her health insurance then I agree with the company because why should the company pay for her health insurance when she is also working for another company. Does she really need to start and register a company in her name? Can she not just do the work for herself in her free time without becoming a registered company?
