Twenty yards further on the police would pick the purchaser up. This begs two questions; 1. Why buy cigarettes off some guy on the street? 2. Why are human beings stupid? But I can reiterate: I am 66 and I remember only one instance where I have been offered drugs; it was in 1980, weed, Miami while staying in a dodgy hotel, en route to a long backpacking tour to Latin America.
