rooster59 Posted June 9, 2018 Share Posted June 9, 2018 American tourist missing at Surat Thani dam - divers searching Diving teams were searching for an American tourist who went missing while swimming at a dam in Surat Thai province in Thailand's south yesterday. By the time of the evening news William Jordan Scott, 30, had still not been found, said Channel 3. It was reported that Mr Scott had been on a day trip to the Ratchaprapa Dam with his girlfriend and other friends in a party of six. He was playing in the water normally before midday then got out and jumped in and could not be located. Police from Ban Takhun and divers were on the scene in the early afternoon but had been unable to locate Mr Scott. Is it only me that find this strange? First he already was in the water, and then he got out and jumped in???? That´s impossible! With strange things like that happening, I would bet he can be anywhere at the same time. This guy is not going to be easy to find. However, the most probable scenario is that he got cramp and drowned. Just to stop searching. To late to find him alive in the water now anyway. In about 2-3 days, a body will float to the surface.
