rooster59 Posted June 9, 2018 Share Posted June 9, 2018 Germany most favourite for Thai football fans: Nida Poll Photo : REUTERS As the 2018 FIFA World Cup tournament to be held in Russia between June 14-July 15 is drawing near, an opinion survey conducted by the National Institute of Development Administration or Nida Poll, revealed that most of the Thai people say Germany, their most favourite team, will be the champion. The poll was conducted on June 5-6 on 2,001 people throughout the country. Asked to mention their most favourite team, the national football team of Germany came first with 22.56% of supporters, followed by Brazil 19.49%, England 15.36%, Spain 8.17%, France 4.57%, Argentina 4.04%, Portugal 3.60%, Japan 1.93%, Russia 1.32% and other teams 2.11%. The rest, 16.86%, were uncertain or had no comment. Germany are their favourite team as they won it last time around much like their favourite team in the EPL is currently Man City. But hey, who can blame them? I think the Poll probably was the latter (who do you think will win it) but has been translated from thai to English to be the former (which team do you like the most).
