All the B/S from Western media dispelled and people's brief encounters of Russians on holiday are not an accurate stereotype of a nation. It's a great country to visit and the people in Russia are friendly and welcoming and love to party as is now being accurately portrayed by the people visiting and enjoying the World Cup. champers Posted July 2, 2018 Author Share Posted July 2, 2018 I think the cities have been spruced up a lot, but a BBC piece about Grozny; where Egypt based themselves and Mo Salah was paraded around; caught a glimpse of life outside the cities. Transport was horse and cart in the rural communities and poverty seemed widespread. The whole country is a completely different place in Winter.
