Sisters put up sign cursing killer of five pet dogs

There are two sides to the coin.

Leaving dogs outdoors all day unsupervised where they can become a nuisance to neighbours and people passing by is irresponsible. On the other hand killing dogs with an insecticide or rat poison is a terrible painful death for the dogs.

Bottom line, is that people who do not have the time to supervise their dogs properly and/or do not have enough open secured space on their properties whereas their dogs can roam without having to venture outside the boundaries of their land, should not have dogs.

Sadly, in this case the dogs have suffered and paid the price because of the incompetent ignorance of their owners.

It's quite difficult to poison a large dog, chocolate will not do the job, nor xylitol in gum or most of the other things you read about.

Did anyone ever think that chocolate would kill a dog?   Is there a special poisonous chocolate available somewhere?
