notamember
I am looking for a really good car wheel alignment/tracking shop in the Pattaya/Siracha/Rayong /Chonburi area willing to travel to the right rig i would like a really modern laser type alignment rig, if anyone has seen one in a tire center or a repair facility i would like to know please Thank you
digbeth
The shop I use is in Pattaya, called 'Spec Center Tire 'on the northbound road beside the railroad track, enter via Sukhumvit 21 north of Naklua, they don't have much range in tyre but are really knowledgeable. Strange that many of the mag and tyre shops around do not have alignment rig. The Bosch Service Centre in Esso station Naklua also has the rig, but I only use them for oil change/service, some dealership and big service place like B-Quick probably has them as well, but I doubt they are as well trained on them as specialist guy who only does tyre. digbeth
What exactly do you look for in alignment rig? most of the place have laser on the wall and reflector on the wheel, some of the rare type has laser on the wheels and reflector on the wall. Have been to Bosch and highly recommend it when I made this enquiry I did not say that I had been to two others already a big tyre shop in south pattaya named a way of crossing a river and another name for a rock charged 500 and I was not happy with it. They say 100% but I knew it wasn’t,t si I tried again at a big Thai shop called like the iPhone helper app and a find name for your grandmother 450 for alignment and 300 to rebalance tires saud it was 100% but it was bit in my opinion so back to Bosch very professional gijd English from young boss knew immeditely what I wanted to achieve without he or I banging on forever about it balnced both wheels again as they were not 100% did alignment again as he demonstrated on the computer, it was not 100% took x12 laser guided points of reference to align it rolled it back and forth on the ramp an retook readings a number of times then made the adjustments the computer dictated and within 30 minutes it was done now it’s perfect but tool comfort in the fact that the young man said take away yoh Test drive, come back if not happy k believed him you will too 440 alignment 300 balancing ftee coffee and internet thanks digbet rhurd time lucky

digbeth
Bridgestone shop isn't name bridgestone anyway, just has Bridgestone sign. Unless it's ACT which is owned by Bridgestone. I'm always wary of the big corporate type place, they might have the machine, but lack the people with expertise manning them. Glad to hear you had good experience with Bosch, I use that place for service all the time but go to smaller guys for alignment
